Potential Production Companies

Heist movies are often reasonably low budget compared to other genres of film, especially those produced in Britain. I have chosen a number of production companies associated with the British Film Industry but have also included Fox Searchlight as I feel this subsidiary of 20th Century Fox may help my film reach a wider audience.

Below are the potential production companies that will produce my low-budget, British heist movie. 

Film 4 - they are owned by UK-based television network Channel 4, which has its own dedicated film channel, broadcasting films for free.

Fox Searchlight - they are owned by 20th Century Fox who are part of a huge multimedia conglomerate, one that is reasonably dominant in the entertainment industry. They are the independent branch of 20th Century Fox which means they have the name and the financial backing to help me market the film and get it in cinemas 

Warp Films - They are an independent UK based production company and would be appropriate for my film as it is set in the UK. They specialise in low budget independent films such as This Is England and Ghost Stories.

BFI - Lots of the most recent British films get small amounts of funding from the BFI which often helps get other investors onboard. They are a charitable organisation funded by the National Lottery.
